Celebrating Felicia!

Three years ago today, this sweet girl came into the world. I will never forget her birth because we were in the middle of a 2 week, intensive therapy program with Lucas and she showed signs of making her entrance during most of that 2 weeks, causing us to fret that we would miss it. BUT, in God's providence, Felicia waited until the last therapy day, after we were home, to arrive! In those 3 years, it has been a joy to watch her personality develop. She adores her big sister and her little brother and it's wonderful to see the bond that they all have.

Therapy Week

I always say that being with the grandchildren is my therapy, so while Drew and Elizabeth attended a conference in FL, we got lots of therapy! It's a busy kind of therapy(but SO much fun!) so I didn't think to take many pictures but did snag a few.
Mimi and Pa came for a visit one day (first time they have been here since her back surgery!) Brenna and Felicia love working puzzles.

 The kiddos with Pa
 Handsome Langston
The girls are really into making tents and having lunch in the tent, so we added a box entryway to our tent.
Pops, the Tickle Monster is about to get Felicia!
The Attack!
"Do it again, Pops!" (The Tickle Monster causes much static electricity.)
We even had a one year photo session with the blue-eyed hunk!

Thank you, Drew and Elizabeth, for entrusting your sweet children to us for a few days!
What a joy and blessing they are!

Langston is ONE!

I have no idea how this little peanut could possibly be 1 year old today! But alas, it's true and he is certainly not a little peanut now!

Drew and Elizabeth hosted his party a few days early. Tom was/is in the middle of a BIG quality crisis at work and wasn't going to be able to be there. However, our most wonderful daughter-in-law changed the time by several hours (which resulted in a change of menu) just so Pops wouldn't miss Langston's 1st birthday party! THANK YOU, Elizabeth!!!

The handsome birthday boy is ready for the festivities!

New duds!

This is a train that Tom's grandfather (Pawsie Thomas) made for Drew and we passed it on to Langston Thomas.

Christmas 2014

As usual, I get so wrapped up in the festivities that I don't take many pictures and the ones I do take aren't good. Nevertheless, here is a snapshot of our Christmas.
My favorite part of Christmas decorating is hanging all these stockings and if you don't already know it, we will need space for another one next year!!!! Drew and Elizabeth are expecting their 4th in July! Woohoo!!!!!

Only my dad, aka "Pa," could come up with such unique ways to dispense money. It was inside the balloons and the boys had to figure out how to get it out.

Ian LOVES his new sports car book and head lamp. When he makes the trek to the bus every morning at 6:50 a.m., he tries to hold a flashlight and drive at the same time (with the same hand) so the head lamp is going to be a huge help!
Lucas says Army guys are serious and can't smile for pictures.
We were BLESSED to have all the kids together on the 27th for our family Christmas and it was SO MUCH FUN!!! We started out with breakfast and the little girls got their own table. (I did not serve pop tarts and cereal to the entire family but it's what they wanted and when they are at Grammy's house........you know the rest!)
 The rest of the clan
 Checking out the stocking loot

It was a Frozen kind of Christmas
Ethan, with a bracelet on his head
Jeremy is reading a poem for he and Lucas and Ian
I'm not sure who was more excited about the train table.....Drew or his kids!
 Olivia and Olaf
Taking a break and watching Frozen
 Matching Frozen blankets
Our attempt at a family picture
We were blessed to have Mom-mom and Dad-dad stay a couple extra days

Although I did a terrible job of getting pictures of everyone, we are so very thankful that we were able to celebrate with our parents, granmother, children and grandchildren.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!!
