Happy Birthday, Elizabeth!

When Drew was a senior at DePauw, he came home less and less and began leaving early even when he was home. At first, it really bothered this momma.....until he explained the reason for wanting to go to church and spend more time in Danville. It was because of this lovely lady! When I found that out, I was pushing him out the door! ;-)  We are so thankful for you, Elizabeth! You are the perfect woman for Drew and such an amazing and patient mommy to those precious children! And the icing on the cake is that there could not be a more thoughtful, perfect daughter-in-law, although we consider you a daughter!

Happy Birthday, Elizabeth! We love you!!!!

Happy Birthday, Drew Thomas!

Can't believe it's been 29 years since this guy made his appearance! What a joy and priviledge to be part of his life and watch how God has, and is, working in his life, and in ours through him. We are blessed beyond anything we could think or imagine!

 2 months
 5 years
And with the adorable Langston Thomas.
Happy Birthday, Drew!
We love you and are so thankful for you!

Camp Opportunity

One of the most difficult things that we face with our youngest 3 boys is that it is almost impossible to find suitable activities for all the boys. Ian has obvious limitations and Lucas has less obvious, but just as intense, limitations. We are constantly trying to think of things that we can do as a family, but with little success.
Last fall, a friend of ours sent a link to a camp for families who have children with special needs. We checked it out and decided it couldn't hurt to apply. A few months later, we met the camp founders and directors via skype and we were accepted! We are so excited for this opportunity! Please check out the link and if you desire to help, we'd surely appreciate it. Besides monetary donations, we need a Family Crew Chief (or 2) and the Vacation with a Purpose is a way for the entire family to serve together. Don't hesitate to call or email me if you have questions! I may not have the answers but the directors are phenomenal and happy to assist in any way.
We are humbled and most grateful that before we have even advertised this, we have a large, anonymous donation already!
Here is the link:  http://victorylanecamp.org/meet-families/  I think you will have to copy the link into your browser and if you click on our picture, it will take you to the brief bio.
We'll keep you posted and of course, will have a full report after we attend.
