Family Fun

Lindsay braved the 9 hour trip from Memphis to Indiana with the kids and it's been a whirlwind ever since...visits from the great (and great-great) grandparents, a family trip to the Indy Zoo, a spa day for the big girls, play dates with cousins, a fishing trip to Mimi and Pa's, and the blessing of worshiping together as a family and hearing Drew preach.  We had so much crazy fun that after the first day, I failed to get any pictures.
We started off the visit with a 1st birthday celebration for Ethan Grey!
The Handsome Birthday Boy
Getting some help with gift opening from Big Sis
 Ice Cream!
Ethan's great grandmother and his great-great Mamma
 A train!
 Eating his cupcake
The Adorable Langston Thomas watching the festivities
Grandma Roberson brought bubbles for all the kids and they had a blast!
 Brenna
Pa, in the midst of girls and bubbles
 Felicia, sporting her mustache whistle
Grandma and Grandpa Ro watching the gift opening with Jeremy beside them
I snapped these this morning before they left since I missed getting so much while they were here.
Troy, thank you for sharing your family while you were slaving away at the Med. Lindsay, thank you for enduring all those hours in a vehicle while Ethan desperately (and loudly) wanted out of his car seat. Olivia and Ethan, thank you for coming (even though you didn't have a choice) and letting us love on you for a few days! We love you all and are so thankful you made the trip!

Where Does the Time Go????

31 years ago today (has it really been that long???), this little beauty came into the world and while I don't remember much of anything these days, I distinctly remember the overwhelming joy and thankfulness that flooded me as I held her.  Even after a long day of labor, I couldn't sleep a wink that night because of the sheer excitement of God allowing us to be her parents, along with the terror of being responsible for a precious life that depended solely on us. We messed up so much but our great God is so merciful and full of grace and she survived! Now, she is a wonderful wife and mommy herself and experiencing the same joy that we felt way back then. Lindsay, it's such an honor and prviledge to watch God continue to stretch and grow you, even in uncomfortable ways sometimes. We are blessed beyond measure to be your parents!

Happy Birthday!
We love you!!!!!

Happy Birthday, Troy!

Several years ago, this guy started hanging around our house and before too long, he became our Number One Son-in-Law. Then, we started hanging around his house...especially in the last 4 years! He is always gracious to put up with us, though! We are so thankful for you, Troy, and all that God is doing in your life!

Happy Birthday, Troy!
We love you!

Happy Birthday, Ethan!!!

I can't believe it's been an entire year since we drove through the night to get to Memphis before this guy was born.  What a joy and delight to watch him grow and develop!  He is a busy, busy boy and keeps his parents on their toes but such an adorable, lovable and sweet guy!

Happy, happy birthday, sweet Ethan! We can't wait to celebrate with you!!!!
We love you so much!

WOW!!!!!!!

We are overwhelmed, humbled and excited this morning!!!  The Humphrey fam is fully funded and will be going to Victory Lane Camp in July!!!  Sadly, most of the donations are "anonymous" so we can't thank you personally, but would love to! If you donated or prayed for us to be funded, please know we are deeply grateful and appreciate it more than words can say!
Another BIG answer to prayer is that we have 2 Family Crew Chiefs going to camp with us! I can't even tell you what a blessing it is to have 2 young women who know and love our boys agree to go along and help for that week. They are giving up a week at their paying jobs for a different kind of free labor during the hottest month and have to raise their own funds. Once again, we are so very humbled and this momma can't stop the tears. God is SO good and uses so many awesome folks to encourage us along this journey.
I promise to have lots of pictures and a complete camp recap but for now, I leave you with 3 very happy and excited boys!
