It wouldn't be summer without Camp WACK!

I say it every year but I never cease to be amazed at the folks who give so much for our special kiddos to enjoy a day of water skiing. It brings tears to my eyes every time.
It's quite an ordeal to get Ian into a seat with enough "stuffing" all around him to hold him in and upright. Amy Gish and her team are always so patient! Here he is, being loaded in:

 He can't wait!
This is as they are sliding him into the water and he is ready to go!

 And, he's off!
This picture is from a long distance but I included it so you could see the jet skis that are close beside Ian, in case he falls.
Do you think he enjoys it?
I put this one in to show what the skis look like and all the padding they have stuffed around him.
As soon as he gets back to the dock, he is surrounded by pretty girls who help get him to the dock and out of the water. He loves that part, too!
There are always activities for the siblings to do while they wait. Jeremy and Lucas made picture frames (and had pictures taken in the photo booth), went fishing, played football and colored pictures.

Ian has been looking forward to Camp WACK for weeks and maybe even months. (He's been asking about it every night for a looonnnnggg time!)  He seems to know everyone there and we just tag along because it's so fun.
Thank you Amy and all your many volunteers for giving Ian the opportunity to ski by himself! I can't even imagine how it must make him feel but I surely know he loves it and can't wait for next year!
